During your complimentary consultation, Dr. Jodi, Dr. Little and our team will evaluate your smile, oral and medical history and treatment goals to decide if clear aligners are the right fit for you. Before heading into your appointment, here are some things to consider:

Is it more expensive than braces?

While the exact cost will vary, treatment with clear aligners is often comparable to the cost of braces treatment!

Does my insurance cover it?

Some dental insurances offer coverage or partial coverage for orthodontic treatment with clear aligners. We can help you figure out if yours does and if it does how much it covers.

Is it painful?

When you first switch to your new set of aligners, you may experience some discomfort for a day or so. Think of it as a sign that your treatment is working! If necessary, you can take over the counter pain medication to feel more comfortable.

How many hours a day do I have to wear my aligners?

In order to prevent delays in your treatment and to ensure a beautiful end result, you will need to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day, or as recommended by our team. You should only remove them when eating, drinking and cleaning them.
